Meet our President/CEO, Mrs. Karen M. Rackley!
Ms. Karen Rackley serves as the President / CEO of the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber (January 2010) and took on the dual role of the Economic Development Director in April of 2012. Ms. Rackley has her Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Real Estate License (nonactive), and has taken several courses throughout the years in Customer Service Relations, Accounting, Real Estate, Economic Development, has completed the University of Georgia’s Train the Trainer Leadership Community Program and is graduate of the Locate South Georgia Leads Class (2016-2017). Ms. Rackley is a graduate of the Mercer University of Atlanta and has worked in Education, Banking, Real Estate, Retail, Travel, and Tourism throughout her career. Ms. Rackley oversees the operations and finances of the Chamber and Economic Development Authority and is extremely proud of her team and thankful for all of our Directors and Ambassadors. She serves as the Executive Director of the Worth County EDA, President/CEO of the Sylvester-Worth Chamber and currently serves on the following boards as a director: Georgia Chamber, WCHS CTAE Board, Downtown Development Authority (City of Sylvester), Leadership Worth, Sylvester Family Connections, Kiwanis of Sylvester, Work Source Georgia and serves as an on the Best Friends Humane Society. Ms. Rackley is a member of the Local Kiwanis Club, where she serves as Treasurer (Since 2007). She is a Facilitator, and Secretary-Treasurer for Leadership Worth, Secretary for the Georgia Peanut Festival and serves on numerous committees in the community. Since 2010 the Chamber has gained in membership to over 300 members for the 1st time in the history of the Chamber. Ms. Rackley Resides in Sylvester, GA with her husband and son and has two daughters in Atlanta. Karen is proud to be a member of the Leadership in Sylvester-Worth County and enjoys the teamwork and collaboration of all our partners to help make our community a better place to live. Karen enjoys volunteering, reading, community involvement, and is passionate about promoting her community because we are “WORTH” the effort
Trinity started working at the Chamber right after High School almost three years ago. Trinity is now a Worth County High School Alumni who is currently a Junior at Georgia Southern University majoring in Physics. Ms. Trinity's work has proved invaluable to the Chamber and she now works remotely as well as in house during school vacations. Ms. Trinity focuses on our web page, weekly newsletter, and weekly Business Spotlights among other things. Be sure to watch for her weekly newsletter and business spotlights. In her free time Trinity likes to do all kinds of arts and crafts including cross-stitching, painting, and crocheting. Our Chamber would simply not be the same without her! Make sure to keep an eye out for her work here on our website!
Emily is a Worth County Alumni who graduated early this past December. Emily works in the office and focuses on membership communication, event coordination, office administration, answering phones, and many other duties. In her free time, she likes to cheer on her school and community in any way she can. Additionally, she likes to spend time with her family, friends, and pets.
