AWARD PROGRAMS
BUSINESS OF THE YEAR
Criteria for the Business of the Year Award includes, but are not limited to:
- The business must be an established business and a member in good standing with the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce for a minimum of 3 years
- The business must have an established reputation for providing a superior level of customer service
- The business should use ingenuity and innovation to overcome challenges and compete in the marketplace
- The employer and employees should participate in and/or support community activities
- The business should make a concerted effort to retain their employees, as well as provide ample benefits
GOODWILL AMBASSADOR OF THE YEAR
Criteria for the Goodwill Ambassador of the Year Award Category includes, but are not limited to:
- Dynamic individual who embodies the principles of community leadership, selflessness, integrity, and who promotes the good of the community
- Individual that has demonstrated a diverse array of volunteer involvement in Worth County
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT
Criteria for the Lifetime Achievement Award includes, but not limited to:
- Long-standing individual that has demonstrated a diverse array of volunteer and/or community involvement
- Embodies the principles of selflessness, integrity, and promotes the good of the community through his/her profession and/or volunteer activities
- Has been recognized by other organizations for volunteer work or profession
NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR
Criteria for the Non-Profit of the Year award include, but are not limited to:
- The Non-Profit must be an established Non-Profit and a member in good standing with the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce for a minimum of 2 years
- The Non-Profit must embody the principles of selflessness, integrity, and promotes the good of the community while fostering equitable, anti-oppressive work environments
- The Non-Profit that has demonstrated a diverse array of volunteer involvement in Worth County
