WHAT IS A CHAMBER?

A Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of business and professional individuals who have joined with the purpose of promoting the community's civic, commercial, and industrial progress. The economic well-being of the area is closely tied to the quality of work that is done by the Chamber. That is why the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce plays a significant role in influencing the community, fostering  business growth, increasing income, and shaping Worth County's future development.

It serves as a spokesperson for the business and professional community, implementing the collective ideas and goals of its members

It provides targeted services that are best delivered by a community organization, benefiting both its members and the entire community. General objectives include enhancing the quality of life in the community, including education, recreation, arts, and culture. The Chamber remains committed to supporting the Economic Development Authority in their endeavors to attract and retain industrial development.
