MEET OUR STAFF

Mrs. Karen Rackley has served as the President / CEO of the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce since 2010 and as the Executive Director of the Economic Development Authority since 2012. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Mercer University in Atlanta. Throughout the years, Mrs. Rackley has also acquired a Real Estate License (nonactive) and has taken several courses in Customer Service Relations, Accounting, and Economic Development. Additionally, she has completed the University of Georgia's Train the Trainer Leadership Community Program and is a graduate of the Locate South Georgia Leads Class (2016-2017).

Mrs. Rackley continues to stay active in her community and its development by serving on the following: Georgia Chamber, WCHS CTAE Board, Downtown Development Authority, Leadership Worth, Georgia Peanut Festival, Sylvester Family Connections, Kiwanis of Sylvester, Work Source Georgia, and the Best Friends Humane Society. Since Mrs. Karen has been the head of the Chamber, it has increased its membership to over 300 members. She is extremely proud of her team and thankful for all of our Directors and Ambassadors. She is proud to be a member of the leadership in Sylvester-Worth County and enjoys the teamwork of all our partners to make our community a better place to live. She is passionate about promoting her community because we are "WORTH" the effort.
